The Rappahannock Pantry receives food from local donors, the US Department of Agriculture, supermarkets, and other retail outlets. The majority of the fresh food is donated by Rappahannock farmers, orchardists, and gardeners. The Pantry also purchases food in bulk to keep our shelves filled.
Shoppers will find produce, bread, baked goods, deli items, and pet food any day the Pantry is open. Many additional items are often in stock and local produce is available seasonally. Shoppers: Please remember to bring your own bags and boxes.
The Pantry asks shoppers for information about household size, income, assistance received, and housing expenses. There are income limitations for the USDA food, but not for anything else. Feel free to call if you have questions.
